The only registration required would be if you’d like to upload your own photos. Once uploaded, photos will not appear immediately, they sit awaiting activation. This is so I can auto re-size to 650 pixels wide. Please contact me after uploading so I can activate your pictures.
Also today, I cleaned up the Photo Gallery code and moved some things around a bit. Category jump menu and category path are together in the top left corner. The 4images header was removed and the search box was put on the bottom left. Category section was moved below the photos on the main page.
All members except for John H. and myself can only upload photos to the new 2007 photo categories. If you have something older to post, please let me know.

The Art of Life Jacketing
(Ancient, Traditional, Eternal)

Required steps:
Using a USCG approved (or better) type II life vest (yoke style preferred):
Unstrap the belt and straighten the life vest.
Tie the vest belt to a line connected to the boat using a Sheet Bend.

Optional steps:
If sunglasses are worn, a floating strap is advisable.
If sunny, a hat is advisable.
If coed participation a swimsuit is advisable.
If fat, a shirt is advisable.
If drinking beer a coozie and canned beer are advisable.
Cheap beer is best since it is not ruined by the addition of lake water.
Going ashore to pee, is optional if not impossible.
Notes to boat captain:
1) never run the motor with people in water.
2) a ski flag, usually orange, is useful to indicate to other boats that people are in the water.
With your vest, coozie, beer, hat, sun glasses, shirt, motor not running, lines tied to boat, etc;
jump/climb into water:
Sit on vest. I sit near strap end of vest with remainder up the middle of my back.
Recreate on your new improvised water lounge chair.
