The Weekenders Mikotti have generously offered to captain our Friday and Saturday meals. Salmon and pesto salad before the play on Friday under Chef Mary Jo, and Mike’s smoking extravaganza cookout on Saturday.
Bringing up some desserts and snacking materials would be in order. (And rumor has it Deb Dicke may be providing for a special cheese course.)

Yes, Johno, that’s right. As for Saturday Supper, group participation is encouraged if not completely necessary… there will be a full kitchen and and a BBQ grill available.
Here is The Vision:
* I will see to it that some pulled pork, ribs, chicken, and fish gets properly smoked, and ready to eat.
* And along with that I am hoping (this is where everyone else comes in) to eat: corn on the cob, cole slaw, baked beans, grilled and/or raw veggies, and potato salad. Homemade BBQ sauces welcome too. Let us know if you can do any of these. Figure about 14 diners more or less.
* And if food prep is not your thang perhaps you might assist in setup, cleanup, beverage acquisition? Or something else of your choosing? Again, let us know.
THANK YOU!

Mmmmm… special cheese…
I will happily supply large quantities of corn o’ the cob (as they say… Or do they?)
I will also bring an assortment of veggies for the grill!
Cheese course is on. I’m thinking it fits with Friday but will wait for approval from the chefs. For Saturday, I got your Potluck bars right here. I’ll bring a couple pans of the bake sale favorites – Frito Bars and Kettle Crispies.

Trust your instincts, Curdwalker. Or, in the case of ripened “Red Linen” brick cheeses, your instinkts.
New thought! Apres-theatre cheese course! It will be hard to fit all the eating and appreciating in before the performance. And for some reason, I’m always ravenous after a nap.
If any one is interested in bringing wines that might pair well with the cheeses, inbox or message me as the kids say.
I shall provide beans if necessary, of the baked variety.
Thusfar…

I’m pretty much a hot mess in the kitchen. So instead of my usual “buy something pre-made” at the store trick, how about I bring wine? And I can help with clean-up!
Would adding or substituting creamette salad be appropriate?
If so, add me and it to the list!
Yes, and added!
I am so glad that it appears that you are all organized.
I am not, but I thought I’d bring pasta salad, some bar snacks and some big bottle of Pino Grigio.
Also, I’m quite a cleaner, so would be glad to offer my services in the kitchen…..sink.
See you all soon.
I’ll whip together some breakfast stratas. Or do I say two strata? Repeat strata really fast over and over… it makes a no sense. In fact it doesn’t even make sense saying it once. OK folks – everyone but Brennen and MaryElizabeth go ahead and google strata. Wait – you’d better google strata recipe.
